Toby has worked within the field of dementia for the last four years, where he has run and facilitated music and singing groups for people with dementia and their carers spanning North Wales from Wrexham to Holyhead. Toby also works as a Dementia Coordinator in Denbighshire and Conwy offering help, support advice and guidance for people who have a new diagnosis of any kind of dementia and their families/carers.

What you will learn on this course

The course is split into 8 modules, giving you a good introduction to Dementia and some practical ways that you can support a loved one. You will:

  • Learn about the signs and symptoms of Dementia

  • Gain a greater understanding of Dementia and how to provide support

  • Access information about hospital visits and practical tips
